In 2006 Geoff Nunn & Associates assisted a major Victorian water company review its performance monitoring and reporting system, and associated links to executive and management incentives. The resultant model, based on the Balanced Scorecard has generated considerable professional interest and will assist the organisation track performance at all levels of the business.
In 2007 Geoff Nunn & Associates was engaged by a newly listed environmental engineering company to assist the Board Remuneration Committee with a review of Board and executive remuneration. This involved use of our board remuneration evaluation model to compare practice to market rates.
During 2006 and 2007 Geoff Nunn & Associates advised a major international engineering and infrastructure development company in a review its total approach to rewarding key people. This involved job evaluation and benchmarking against like organisations. We also undertook a total review of performance linked remuneration and the development of a new model utilising the balanced scorecard as its base.
The model was developed after extensive research and executive input.
In 2007 Geoff Nunn & Associates was commissioned by a state owned electricity grid operator to review current remuneration strategy for staff covered by their enterprise agreement. We facilitated a number of focus groups, evaluated a range of benchmark positions and undertook detailed market comparisons. The review resulted in a number of initiatives for change.
In the past year we have completed over 100 projects, similar to those described above in a diverse range of organisations across Australia. 2007 has seen a significant increase in demand for our services. Many organisations are seeking to review their remuneration strategies in a tight employment market, particularly those operating from a technical base.
